SCJP Certification Detail
Sun SCJP certification is designed to check the candidate knowledge to develop applications by using Java 2 technology. After passing SCJP certification, you will get credit towards the Sun Certified Developer Java 2 Platform (SCJD), J2EE Platform (SCWCD), OCSD, OCED, CIW, jCert Solution Developer and jCert Enterprise Developer certifications.

SCJP certification requirements
To become SCJP certified professional, you need pass CX-310-035 exam. This is the only one exam needs for SCJP certification. This certification doesn’t have any prerequisites test, but it is recommended that you should have experience of basic syntax of Java language.
SCJP CX-310-035
The Sun Certified Programmer for Java 2 Platform 1.4 certification exam is designed for those IT professionals who have at least 6 to 12 month experience of the basic syntax and structure of Java programming language. CX-310-035 is available for the Java 2 Platform. This exam can be delivered by only authorized Prometric testing centers. CX-310-035 exam contains 61 questions that have to be solved in 120 minutes. To pass this test, you need to earn 52% scores.
CX-310-035 exam will consist of multiple choice questions and short questions only. It is also expected that you might be asked simulation questions. This exam is available in world’s biggest languages such as English, Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean and Spanish.
